First things first. Or second.
Remember when I was all stressed out over my national databases exam? No? Well, that's ok. It doesn't matter. I thought I didn't do well. In fact, I believe the word I used was "bombed." Actually, I got a 99%. I really ought to stop freaking out over these things. All it does is make my blood pressure high and that's not good.
Also, today I finally went to my first juma (Friday prayer). It was nice, and I think I will go every week. It's convenient because it is on campus. The mosques are all far from me, and so they're difficult for me to go to because I have no car! I don't know why it took me so long to work up the courage to go. Baby steps, right?

Juma is one of the big things I miss here in India. Friday is a working day here like most of the places in the world (and unlike back home), so it takes an effort to go out of the office and go to the nearest mosque -- which is not so near. I know this is only a lame excuse but back home it was weekend and one could take things slow leading up to the prayer. Now if I have to go every Friday, it'll be a big rush -- and that spoils the beauty of it.
